Who we are
This website and the Prime Virtual DJ apps are provided by Prime Virtual DJ. Contact: admin@primevirtualdj.com.
What we collect and why
- Account and order data — name, e-mail address, billing address and order history, to create your account, process your subscription and send invoices and service e-mails (performance of a contract).
- Payment data — card or bank details are entered on and processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Licence and device data — your licence, its plan and status, and for each device: a one-way hashed device identifier, a label (for example “Windows (x64)” or “Chrome on macOS”), the platform, app version and the dates it was activated and last checked. This is needed to enforce the device allowance of your plan. We do not store IP addresses with device records.
- Web app library — if you use the web app, the music files, playlists, cues and recordings you add there are stored in your private library on this website so you can use them in your browser. You can delete them at any time.
- Support messages — what you send us through the contact form or by e-mail, to answer you.
What the desktop apps send
The Windows and Mac apps contact our licence server only to activate, renew and deactivate your licence. They send the licence key, an anonymous identifier for the computer, a device label, the platform and the app version. Your music, library, playlists, recordings and diagnostic logs stay on your computer and are never uploaded. The apps contain no analytics or advertising trackers.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the website to work: sign-in, cart and checkout cookies, and — for the web app — a cookie that identifies a browser you have registered as one of your devices. We do not use advertising cookies.
Who we share data with
Our hosting provider, our payment provider and our e-mail delivery provider process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Account and licence data are kept while you have an account. Order and invoice records are kept as long as accounting law requires. Web app files are kept until you delete them or close your account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. You can export or erase account data through your account or by contacting admin@primevirtualdj.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
