What do I get with a subscription?
The full Prime Virtual DJ software: the Windows app, the Mac app and the web app in your browser, under one account. Every plan includes every feature. The plans differ only in how many devices you can use. Plans start at 9,99 € per month.
What counts as a device?
Each computer where you activate the desktop app counts as one device, and so does each web browser you register for the web app. Reinstalling the app on the same computer does not use another device. You can remove devices yourself in My Prime Virtual DJ at any time.
Is Ultimate really unlimited?
Ultimate has no device count limit for your own computers and browsers. It is a personal licence for one DJ — not a team or multi-user licence. To prevent account sharing, a limited number of new devices can be added per day.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from My Prime Virtual DJ. Your licence key stays the same; only the device allowance changes. If you downgrade below the number of devices in use, the least recently used devices are signed out.
How do I cancel?
Cancel in My Prime Virtual DJ with one click. Your subscription will not renew, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Does the desktop app work offline?
Yes. Once activated, the desktop app works without an internet connection for up to 14 days and renews its licence automatically the next time it is online. Your music library stays on your computer. The web app needs an internet connection.
Where is my music stored?
In the desktop apps, your music stays on your computer — the app reads your files where they are and never uploads them. In the web app, tracks you add are stored in your private library on primevirtualdj.com so you can use them in your browser.
Which DJ controllers and audio interfaces work?
Class-compliant MIDI controllers can be mapped with MIDI learn. Audio plays through the outputs your operating system provides; you can choose a separate output for headphone cueing. There is no ASIO driver support and no built-in controller presets.
Can I use Spotify, Apple Music or other streaming services?
No. Prime Virtual DJ plays music files you own (MP3, AAC/M4A, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, OGG, Opus). Streaming services are not integrated.
Which computers are supported?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), macOS 13 Ventura or newer on Apple Silicon or Intel, and the web app in a current version of Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a desktop or laptop computer.
